Thank you to all who cooperated during our first round of state fire inspections. For those who were unable to be home, or needed to update a fire safety item, re-inspections have been delayed and are expected to resume in October or November. Once the state provides us with more concrete dates, we will share this information with you.
Please note, if your condo unit was already inspected and passed, you will not need to be inspected again. As a reminder, these inspections are mandatory from the Government. Any fees from noncompliance will be assessed to the home owner.
Please be sure you have:
a fire extinguisher in your kitchen that is displayed and accessible in case of emergency
New or within 10-years-old Smoke Detectors properly installed and functional
Carbon monoxide detector, ideally located in the hallway near the bedrooms
Nothing blocking a quick and safe escape in case of emergency
