An important notice from New Jersey American Water:

A voluntary conservation notice has been issued as of Sunday, March 26 for customers in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties to reduce water usage due to a chemical spill on a tributary to the Delaware River located in Bristol PA.

New Jersey American Water is monitoring the source water and performing water quality tests at various points in the treatment process and throughout the distribution system. At this time the company has determined that the spill has not impacted the treated drinking water being delivered to customers in the three counties served by the Delaware River Regional Water Treatment Plant.

The company is asking customers to voluntary conserve water use to help ensure the

optimal operation of its water treatment plant. You are receiving this email because you reside in the area in which we are asking customers to voluntarily limit all non-essential water use until further notice. When conditions improve, customers will be notified when the voluntary conservation notice is lifted.

If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this impact to their water service. For more information on ways to conserve water or to see a map of the affected area please go to NewJerseyamwater.com and click on 'Alerts'.

Thank you for your cooperation in restricting water use until this notice is lifted.

Esto es un aviso importante sobre su servicio de agua y/o alcantarilla. Para asistencia en Español, por favor llame New Jersey American Water al 1-800-272-1325.
